Countdown Until Switch On:
New Dazzling Lights Show Controller:
23 January 2009
Construction has just been completed on our new show control system for 2009. The new system allows us to incorporate some interactive functions so that our visitors have some control of the show, by pressing a button, or triggering a sensor such as a motion detector.
The new control system also incorporates a 433MHz LIPD remote control transmitter and receiver so that we can trigger up to 6 different shows remotely from a distance and operate up to another 6 relay outputs. This allows us to interrupt the show currently playing and do things such as switching all of the lights on / off, or playing a specific sequence such as when Santa Claus is about to arrive. 6 push buttons on the rear of the unit allow for local triggering of sequences. The additional relay outputs allow us to control other items such as the Snow machine. The remote control system is rated up to a distance of 500m and we have successfully tested it to a distance of 100m with the receiver antenna coiled up.
