2008 Light-O-Rama Contest Results:

Light-O-Rama, the company who designed and manufacture the computerised lighting system that we use, run an annual Christmas Lighting Contest. For the 2008 Contest they added a new category for countries that use 240VAC, such as Australia, New Zealand and most of Europe.
When the contest results were announced on 31st March, 2009, we were humbled to find that our entry of Apalachian Snowfall was awarded a tie with Kim and Nicolas Lund of Denmark in the 240V category. This news came as a big surprise to us as we had seen many other Australian videos and thought that they were of an exceptionally high standard and more worthy to win than our display.
We would like to congratulate all of the other category winners, as well as the Grand Prize winner Ron Lister of Florida, and thank everyone who submitted an entry in this year's contest.
On behalf of our family we would like to sincerely thank Dan, Mary, Alex, John and the crew at Light-O-Rama for their support in running this annual contest, as well as the exceptional customer support and wonderful products they produce.
