All of our sequences are programmed into a central show computer and backup computer. A small FM Stereo transmitter allows passing motorists or visitors with portable radios to "listen to the lights" from 8:45pm until the show finishes each night. The radio transmitter has a range of approximately 100 metres. The outside speakers switch off at 10:00pm so that we don't disturb our neighbours too much.
Showtime lasts approximately 45 minutes before the sequence starts again. We deliberately wanted a reasonably large number of pieces of music, so that we don't get sick of it as well... Believe me, in programming each of the lighting sequences we have become intimately aware of every beat of the music, hearing them over and over and over again...
